Resort Wear Baby Boo Partners With Jack’s of Fiji

Jack’s of Fiji is proud to announce its partnership with local based print designer Sonam Sapra in launching the Resort Wear collection, Baby Boo.
Baby Boo currently features a range of luxury kaftans, beach kimonos, beach bags and cushion covers that are inspired by Fiji’s natural surroundings and embodies the carefree and island lifestyle of the designer. The rich and vibrant prints are reminiscent of the ever-changing colours that come with life in Fiji and the ocean.
Local designer Sonam Sapra, said: “Baby Boo is really a play on words that represents my life and upbringing on Taveuni Island in my prints and clothes, an island girl with a Western influence.
“The label itself is young and fresh like the young coconut (which is “Bu” in Fijian but for Western commercial purposes spelt Boo, like “my love”) and working with Jack’s of Fiji has opened up a lot of new opportunities for me.
Journey
“It has been an adventurous and inspiring journey so far working with the different departments of Jack’s of Fiji, from product development to manufacturing and marketing which has brought this collaboration to life.”
The brand is created using exceptional, comfortable fabric that offers all modern women a taste of fashion and femininity. All prints are hand drawn and converted into wearable fashion. This makes the prints unique like every woman.
The range is 100 per cent locally produced from drawing the prints to printing the fabric, sewing the products and packaging. With local designers on the rise, Jack’s of Fiji has chosen to cultivate home grown talent.
Baby Boo will be available at three locations to begin with that is Nadi Town, Port Denarau and Suva City.
Every few months customers and admirers will get to enjoy new locally hand drawn prints by Ms Sapra, so be sure to grab one for yourself!
