Attorney-General Announces $785,000 Bonus For AFL Staff
Attorney-General and Minister for Civil Aviation Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum yesterday announced a $785,000 bonus for all Airports Fiji Limited (AFL).
It is a case of Christmas coming early for the staff of AFL who have enjoyed one of the best years of operation.
AFL executive chairman Faiz Khan says 2017 was an important years for AFL as the company had embarked on a numbers of major projects.
These included the overhaul of the Nadi international airport, Rotuma Airport upgrade, Nausori International Airport upgrade among others.
Despite this, AFL declared a $45 million dividend payout on the back of a successful year.
In congratulating staff of AFL, Mr Sayed-Khaiyum noted the exceptional performance of the company. However, he urged them not to rest on their laurels.
