Commissioner Kean Shares Christmas Cheers With Taveuni Officers

The Commissioner of Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) Commander Francis Kean was at the Taveuni Corrections Centre last week to share a Christmas cheer with the officers and their families.
FCS Supervisor Northern Division, Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Jo Vosanibola, thanked the Commissioner and his team for visiting Taveuni.
On Friday he said they had a parade where the Commissioner addressed them on the important role Corrections Officers played in ensuring the security and safety of all prisoners and society.
“I must thank the team at Taveuni for the delivery of Correction Services,” he said.
ASP Vosanibola sad they had a Christmas church service with their families and they also shared in a late Christmas lunch.
He echoed the appreciation of FCS personnel and their families on Taveuni in thanking the Commissioner and his team for visiting them during this time of the year.
Taveuni Corrections Centre has a capacity for 55 prisoners and currently have 52 incarcerated at the centre
