Positive Responses Please Commissioner Qiliho

Police Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho took time out to speak to individuals and members of the business community in Nadi Town.
And overall he was happy with the positive feedback received from the people of Nadi in regard to the services provided by Police.
After attending the launch of the new digital broadcasting platform, Walesi at Korovulu Park in Nadi yesterday, Brigadier-General Qiliho took the time to get the general public’s views and their thoughts on the services provided by personnel at the Nadi Police Station.
“Most of the time I receive complaints and not so many good comments about the services we provide to members of the public,” he said.
“While I’m here at the launch I thought it would be an opportune time to also move around and talk to the people about the Police service here, what they think of the service at the station and how they can be improved.
“There were clear feedbacks and I enjoyed my conversations with people along the streets and business owners as well. Fortunately, today I have got a lot of positive feedback about the service.
“I asked them of their worries in regard to businesses which is expected to peak as we head towards Thursday, Friday and Saturday with Christmas around the corner.
“So it’s important to interact with them, this information will help me give better direction to my officers here in Nadi on how they can improve their service,” Brigadier-General Qiliho said.
