Strengthening ties, building good relationships was behind Radisson Blu Resort Fiji’s  appreciation cocktail  at  Denarau Island on Tuesday.

Radisson Blu Resort Fiji general manager John Bendtsen said the year had been a success and he was grateful to the various agents and the media for their continued partnership.

“Tonight is really about thanking all our agents for their support throughout the year,” he said.

“We are also showcasing our newly refurbished block that is expected to be released to the public on Christmas Day.

“This project has been ongoing for the year and is still on track the handing over will be on the December 22.”

There are 11 more blocks still yet to be completed, completion is expected to be complete in 2019.

Mr Bendtsen said the rooms offer more space and are very much related to the hotels name as a top family resort on Denarau Island.

“For the new rooms the furniture is a lot slicker so it takes up the floor space and we guarantee our market will remain with the same prices,” he said.

“It is a lot more family friendly, more convenient  for everyone and we will now have the biggest room on Denarau Island.”

He added Radisson Blu Resort Fiji also wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thank them for all the support through the 2017, and hopefully we can continue this through to the 2018.”
