Daniel Amitesh Chand who was wanted for questioning in relation to a case where he is alleged to have obtained up to $6000 from an Australian citizen is now being questioned at the Sigatoka Police Station. He surrendered himself on Tuesday.
It is alleged the victim had been sending up to $6,000 whereby an agreement was reached for the suspect to pay the victim back which to date he has allegedly failed to do.
Police thank the media for disseminating their request for information.
Investigations into the case continue.
