A man has been charged by Police on three counts of criminal trespassing, indecent assault and criminal intimidation.

Kishore Kumar of Clifton, Kalabu, appeared before Magistrate Charles Ratakele at the Nasinu Magistrates Court in Valelevu yesterday.

The court heard that on January 1, 2018, in Nasinu, Kumar allegedly entered the compound of Tevita Tamata, with intent to commit an offence.

On the same day, Kumar allegedly indecently assaulted a woman by touching her breasts.

On the third count, Kumar allegedly threatened Nemani Bulata by showing him a knife and threatened to kill him with intent to cause alarm to the said Mr Bulata and his family.

Kumar said he would seek a Legal Aid lawyer. Mr Ratakele further remanded Kumar until January 5, 2018, where he was told to file a formal bail application.
