A report was referred to Police from the Labasa Hospital where they reported a case of serious assault.
This was confirmed by Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro yesterday.
“The victim is a 21-year-old farmer of Viriqilai Village,” Ms Naisoro said.
“He is admitted in critical condition due to serious injuries.
Police is still trying to gather more information.”
