Nair A Good Coach: Yusuf

The Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel, board members and the whole football fraternity is mourning the death of Satendra Nair.
Nair being a former coach for numerous districts contributed a lot on and off the football field.
Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf says, the football fraternity is in shock to hear the sudden passing of Nair.
“Satendra Nair is one of those unsung heroes who has contributed immensely towards football in the past. He was a good coach and also a very educated person who did very well off the field as well.”
He coached teams like Rakiraki, Tavua, and Suva.
Nair was a bank officer with the Fiji Development Bank and later joined TPAF as a lecturer. He was the deputy director of TPAF (now under Fiji National University) at the time of his passing.
He will be remembered for his approachable and friendly nature.
