Burglary, theft case goes to the High Court

 

The case of two men charged with aggravated burglary and theft was transferred yesterday to the High Court in Suva.

Accused, Nacanieli Bale and Jone Delai, appeared before Magistrate Charles Ratakele at the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

They are each charged with one count of aggravated burglary and theft and remanded in custody.

It is alleged that the pair broke into a house in Nasinu on January 2 and stole electronic appliances worth $3814.

Among the items was a 42-inch television set worth $2954, one Samsung J3 mobile phone at $260 and a $600 iPod.

The case was adjourned to January 19, at the High Court in Suva.
