Over 500 people arrived to top-up their children’s e-ticking cards.

More than 500 people came to register and top up their children’s e-Ticketing cards in Nadi yesterday.

Officials said they were flat out with people from all over Nadi who came to organise themselves before school starts on January 15.

Edwin Lal said: “I’d rather do it because school starts soon and this is the only time.”

Mr Lal lives in Namaka and his children attend Andrews Primary School.

“It’s a real bother when you have to run around trying to organise the children’s bus cards. So when the ad came out in the Fiji Sun, I told my wife that we had to get it organised now.”

Anaseini Ralulu, a housewife of Martintar said: “I’m so glad I have been able to do this. When I came the line was so long but the young men who are serving us did everything carefully and rather quickly too so we were able to be served on time.”
