Nadi Football Boss Wants Winning Start

The Nadi football side will be on a mission when they face Ba in the opening round of the Vodafone Premier League at Prince Charles Park on Sunday.
Nadi Football Association president Javed Ahmed said yesterday they are ready to beat Ba.
“It will be a tough match but we want to win to start our campaign on a high note,” he said.
“We’re not underestimating them as we expect all our players to start training this week.”
Ahmed said they’ve started their preparation last week with the absence of a few key players.
“Some are still on a festive mood and have not reported to training but we’re expecting them from tomorrow.”
However, he confirmed that star players like striker Napolioni Qasevakatini, Rusiate Matererega, Vereti Dickson, Ame Votoniu and Ilimotama Jese have been training.
“They are our regular players who will take the field against Ba and we expect them to play a key role in the team. Also I’m calling on our fans to come out in numbers. Fans support motivates the players to play to their best and win,” Ahmed added.
