After serving the Republic of Fiji Military Forces for over 30 years, Sergeant Wakanivugayali Korolevu was laid to rest at 9 Miles Cemetery in Nakasi last Friday.

Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) chief of staff Colonel Ratu Jone Kalouniwai said: “He was a dedicated and loyal soldier.”

The RFMF Logistics Support Unit (LSU) Officer Commanding Transport Lieutenant Josateki Lesuduaduamailakeba spoke at the Kinoya Methodist Church about Sergeant Korolevu’s work in the RFMF. He said the sergeant was always dedicated and committed throughout his years with the LSU.

RFMF Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto with senior officers were at the cemetery to farewell Sergeant Korolevu.

Colonel Kalouniwai said Sergeant Korolevu died of a heart attack. He was from Moala, Lau.
