Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Transport tours authority office in Valelevu.

The Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Vijay Nath, on Tuesday met with the staff of LTA and had face to face discussions with the LTA general manager, policies and business development, Navilesh Chand.

Mr Nath was touring the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Valelevu Office where he encouraged the staff to continue to work proficiently to further uplift and standardise the operations of LTA.

He was briefed about the developments and progress made at LTA in terms of stepping up its efforts to ensure that accountability and transparency were an integral part of its operations.

This was appreciated and welcomed by the Assistant Minister.

The Assistant Minister was also introduced to LTA’s newly established unit, the Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji’s, Motor Vehicle Levy Collection, where he met with customers and received positive feedback on the service delivery.

Mr Nath also toured the front customer services unit and met LTA customers who shared their gratefulness towards the LTA for making changes to the service delivery.
