Sebastian ‘Sniper’ Singh received a timely boost from his sponsor Inkk Mobile Limited as he prepares to defend his World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific super lightweight title in Lami on February 2.

Inkk Mobile Limited operations manager Amitesh Narayan and his team are excited for Singh’s first contest as their first ever brand ambassador.

“Sebastian is the latest boxing sensation in the country and is poised to achieve greater heights,” Narayan said.

“Thus we are happy to release the much-needed funds for his preparation and attire needs, as he will be going up against a tough Australian opponent.”

He said they are glad to support Singh achieve his dream of becoming a world rated boxer.

“We understand that a successful defence of his title will land Sebastian more lucrative international fight offers and we will back him with his endeavors all the way.”

Singh said they are doing all the hard yards during their training sessions as they countdown towards the big fight.

“The preparation is going good as we’re just three weeks away so we’re really working hard now. We don’t really have any problems with our training camp as everything is running smoothly.

“I would like to thank my sponsor Inkk Mobile as they have really helped me a lot as before we had to go out of our way and find people to help with our preparations.”

Westwood Boxing promoter Praneel Dass tagged the main bout as an ‘explosive battle’.

“Brent ‘Sugar’ Dames is also a rated pound to pound boxer and has also proven himself so we will surely be having an explosive fight. Whenever it’s a title fight and two countries are involved, it’s always a cracker so fans can expect a world class fight between Fiji and Australia,” Dass added.

The fight takes place at the Novotel Suva Lami Bay Convention Centre.
