The Bavs Khan-coached Jack’s Nadi football team are wary of Ba as they clash in the first round of the Vodafone Premier League at Prince Charles, Nadi tomorrow.

Nadi Football Association president Javed Ahmed said they expect a tough challenge from the ‘Men in Black.’

“It will be tough and it’s the first match of the season,”Ahmed said.

“We started training a week ago compared to Ba who have been preparing for the O-League from last year.”

Ahmed has called on fans to come out in numbers to be part of the first home game in 2018.

“We want to start on a high in front of our fans at home.  The last time we played in Nadi was five months ago.

“We always expect good crowd against Ba. We need the support so that we make the top two at the end of the Vodafone Premier League season so we can qualify for the O-League. We need to start with the bang.”

Javed said they would be fielding a mix of senior and youth players.

The match kicks-off at 3pm.
