Fiji Sugar Corporation’s head of strategic communications yesterday confirmed that a new mill manager for the FSC mill in Labasa has been appointed.
Elenoa Korovulavula said the new mill manager will start his new role at the end of this month.
“The former mill manager, Karia Christopher, has retired,” she said.
“FSC acknowledges and thanks Mr Christopher for his dedication to the company, and we wish him well in his retirement.
“As for the new mill manager, more details of this announcement will be released at a later date.”
Mr Christopher had served the corporation for 31 years.
He is also the administrator of the Rabi Council and a sugarcane farmer.
