New Zealand- based Aisea Tuifelaki will lead Cuvu Blues in the 2018 Uprising Youth 7s competition, next Wednesday at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

The event is part of the 2018 Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast 7s tournament.

The former Cuvu College student is on a two-year scholarship as part of the exchange scheme with Massey High School in Auckland, New Zealand.

“He is in the country for a break and he will lead the team,” Cuvu Blues coach Tiko Matawalu said.

“He was part of the New Zealand Fijians who lost in the World School Sevens final last month.

“Preparation is good and it’s just a matter of adapting the players to the abbreviated code.”

Blues are in Pool D alongside Nasaunivalu, Ratu Kadavulevu School and First Light Taveuni.
