Hong Kong Women Take On Challenge

The Hong Kong women’s 7s team are adamant of taking on the challenge while playing in the Crest Na Iri Trophy this weekend.
The Kevin West coached- side arrived into the country yesterday ready to make their debut.
“We’re really excited,” West said.
“It will be a good challenge for the ladies, who I am coaching.”
They are in Pool M alongside Snax Nadi Aviators, and Striders.
“We don’t get a lot of chance to play outside Asia. I saw this competition last year and they play quality rugby so it’s a great challenge for us.”
The side boast the inclusion of Natasha Thorne and Christie Cheng Ka-chi who played at the 2017 Women World Cup in Ireland.
“It is exactly something different, 7s is religious here in Fiji and we play differently. So it’s a different thing for us, the flair and the offloading.”
