The Makoto Ihada-coached Japan Sakura Development Sevens women’s team is ready for the Crest Na Iri Trophy competition which starts tomorrow at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

The team is coached by Ihada, a former flanker for the Japan national rugby team.

They are in Pool L which features Nadi Blazers and Hotspring Savusavu.

“The team was selected two days ago and we hope to do well,” said team skipper Nishimura Sora.

The side also includes seasoned player Nagura Hinano.

Pool K has Fijiana Makosoi, Stars USA and Blue Light Sisters; Pool M  comprise Hong Kong, Snax Nadi Aviators, and Striders.
