An Air New Zealand Boeing 787 made a pre-arranged stopover at the Nadi International Airport yesterday morning for a crew change before continuing to its final destination in Auckland.
An Air New Zealand statement said Flight NZ29 was delayed departing Houston in the United States of America because of an issue with the airport’s de-icing equipment.
“As a result of this delayed departure and restrictions to the hours pilots and cabin crew are able to operate, the flight made a pre-arranged stopover in Fiji for a crew change before continuing on to Auckland.”
The flight arrived in Auckland at 1.30pm yesterday.
