His lawyer informed the court that the accused did not see the victim while driving because it was dark.
A 58-year-old man of Labasa sought forgiveness from the Labasa Magistrates Court yesterday for his case where he was charged with dangerous driving.
The accused appeared before Magistrate Senileba Levaci.
The accused Pradip Kumar’s lawyer told the court that the accused was married with three children who were all married.
His lawyer informed the court that the accused did not see the victim while driving because it was dark.
He was seeking the forgiveness of the court and promised not to reoffend and pleaded for a minimum sentence.
His case is adjourned to February 27, 2018.
