The Rewa Football Association will be losing four key players in the Transfer Window.

Rewa FA president Nazeel Buksh confirmed yesterday the players are veteran goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau, midfielder Tevita Waranivalu, Savenaca Nakalevu and Madhwan Ghounder who are moving to Suva.

“They have been our top players for the past years and losing them will affect any team,” Buksh said.

“The transition is expected to take place after the current transfer window.”

He said at the moment other districts would be busy sorting out their players and combination during the duration of the transfer window, which is for 16 days.

“But for us despite losing these players it’s not the end of the road as we will be looking for capable replacements.”

Buksh however said, they have not determined whether the players would be replaced externally or internally.

He highlighted that once everything is sorted out then they would be focusing on the preparation of their team for the upcoming hectic season.

Earlier last week, Rewa coach Marika Rodu said thd  have capable players who could come in as replacements.
