New Fiji Airways Fijian 7s reps Aloesi Naduva, Avete Daveta and Vasikali Mudu are looking forward to competing with the big boys in the World Sevens Series in Sydney as from Friday.
“I captained Team Fiji rugby sevens side at the 2017 Pacific Mini Games, but this a major step up and I’m looking forward to making my series debut,” Naduva said
The selection came as a pleasant surprise for teammate Daveta.
“My aim is to prove my worth and do my best,” the Nadroumai, Nadroga, native said.
Hard work has finally paid off for Nadarivatu tough man Vasikali Mudu.
“My time has come and I will do my best for the team,” Mudu said.
The Fiji Airways Fijians will play their pool game against Samoa at 8.28pm on Friday, Russia at 5.09pm on Saturday and New Zealand at 8.42pm.
