Maximo, Kalo, Wilkins For Rewa

Brazilian Diego Maximo, Vanuatu duo Bong Kalo and Ronaldo Wilkins are expected to join the Rewa football team for the Vodafone Premier League which resumes next Saturday.
Rewa Football president Nazeel Buksh confirmed they hope to seal the deal before the O-League starts next month and the closing of the Fiji Football transfer window next Wednesday.
“We are excited to have Maximo rejoining the side as he was part of the ‘Delta Tigers’ during the O-League last year,”Buksh said.
“ And straight after laying in the O-League he joined the Marist club in the Solomon Islands where he assisted the side to qualify for their local league.
“We are still talking to Wilkins, Kalo and players from other districts.

“Josefata Naibuli from Ba, Siotama Kubu from Lautoka and Luke Lomasalato from Manukau United FC in New Zealand are all keen to join the ‘Delta Tigers.’
He said the postponement of the Vodafone Premier League matches has really affected the players’ eagerness to play.
“But we need to use this as an opportunity to prepare ourselves well for the matches ahead.”

Rewa lost 2-3 to Suva in the first round of the Vodafone Premier League at Ratu Cakobau Park.
