New Logo Launch

The Construction Industry Council (CIC) has launched its new logo that will be introduced to its members as its first 2018 meeting to be held Wednesday, January 31st in Suva.
The stylized CIC logo is part of a significant effort by the Council to make it even more relevant to its members. Included in its new plans is a major construction industry conference to be held this year, and the introduction of its own fully functional Secretariat.
Among this year’s initiatives is to work even more closely with Government to address ongoing critical issues like licensing for all sectors of the industry and a greater emphasis on training said Mr. Jenkins.
At CIC’s last meeting before the close of 2017, members heard from the head of the Ministry of Economy’s Construction Implementation Unit (CIU), Mr Mohammed Shah about the opportunities for partnership with Government.
Mr Shah had said at the meeting that Government was interested in seeing a strong CIC and that it would like to work closely with the Council in improving the country’s key infrastructure at all levels.
The Construction Industry Council comprise all the major construction enterprises in the country, including builders, sub-contractors, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, hardware suppliers, developers, project managers and key Government representatives.
