The Fiji Rugby Union is hopeful visa application for the two players to replace Waisea Nacuqu and Avete Daveta will be approved today. The Fiji Airways Fijian 7s reps arrived yesterday after being injured at the Sydney 7s last weekend.

“We are still awaiting the visa application for the replacement players,” FRU chief executive officer John O’Connor said.

He didn’t reveal the names of the players.

“We have players that have been part of the squad but all on the waiting list. We will name them only when the the visa has been granted,” he said.
