Vodafone Fiji appoints Ronald Prasad As Chief Operating Officer

Ronald Prasad has been appointed as the chief operating officer for Vodafone Fiji.
Regional chief executive officer, Pradeep Lal said, “I am pleased to announce that Ronald Prasad is taking over the role of chief operating officer for Vodafone Fiji.”
Mr Prasad has been with Vodafone Fiji since 2007 as manager Business Markets.
He was promoted to the role of director Corporate and Business Marketing in 2009 and has been serving as chief commercial officer since 2014.
He has been responsible for the overall Enterprise Sales, Marketing and Commercial Operations, as well as Enterprise Product Development, Strategy, Cloud and Hosting Services.
He has comprehensive knowledge and expertise in areas of Business Development, Strategic Account Management, People Management, Sales and Marketing, ICT and Distribution.
He has been instrumental in leading the transformation of Vodafone Enterprise into a total communications and ICT solutions provider.
Mr Prasad has recently completed an intensive Executive Programme in Strategy and Organisation at the world-famous Stanford University’s, Graduate School of Business, United States of America.
He holds a Master of Business Administration, from the University of the South Pacific for which he was accorded Professor Nowak’s Prize for Academic Excellence.
He also holds Post Graduate qualifications in Financial Management, Project Management and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Information Systems, Management and Public Administration.
Mr Lal congratulated Mr Prasad on his new appointment and commended his work and contributions as an important member of his executive team.
“With his knowledge and expertise in the mobile telecommunications industry, we are confident that Ronald will seamlessly take on the responsibilities of chief operating officer,” Mr Lal.

Mr Prasad succeeded to the role after the former chief executive officer who previously headed the portfolio moved onto the role of regional chief executive officer responsible for assisting the group with its regional strategies.
He commences with his new role today.
