The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has advised motorists travelling along roads in the greater Nadi and Lautoka area to give way to water carting trucks during the disruption period (February 3rd to 6th).
The authority requests motorists to follow the traffic rules and be patient because trucks are deployed to cart water to affected areas.
“To deliver water on a timely manner, the Water Authority of Fiji requests motorists to understand that more than 100 trucks are deployed around Nadi and Lautoka to cart drinking water,” said WAF director Kamal Gounder.He said the water was for major services and to the members of the public affected by the Nagado Water Shut down.
