The Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team is back to its winning form again.

The players’ performance yesterday at the Hamilton 7s has now set the platform for head coach Gareth Baber to prepare for the Commonwealth Games in April and World Cup in San Francisco, USA, in July.

The reps bounced back after the dismal performance in Sydney last weekend.

The sensational win was their first in the 2017/2018 World Rugby Sevens Series.

The win puts Fiji in third spot with 62 points behind leaders South Africa (77) and New Zealand (69).

The next leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series is in Las Vegas, USA, from March 2 to 4 and a week later in Vancouver, Canada, from March 10 to 11.
