7s Win Fires Up 10s Giants

Winning the Hamilton 7s at the weekend has fired up the Fiji Airways Fijian 10s Giants.
The team departed yesterday to take part in the Brisbane Global Tens in Australia which starts on Friday.
“We watched the Hamilton 7s over the weekend and we are really proud of how the boys played,” halfback Frank Lomani said.
“The team really stepped up from the Sydney 7s and the win has really fired up our 10s campaign.
“We have talked about stepping up our performance. If the 7s team can do it, we can do it as well.”
The Senirusi Seruvakula-coached team is in Pool C with the Crusaders, Hurricanes and the Brumbies.
The side will also be playing a pre-season match with the Reds as part of the Super Rugby preparation next week.
“We need to perform to make it into the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians team in 2018,” he said.
“We have been in camp for three weeks and the boys are well prepared and ready.”
The team is captained by Mosese Voka.
