Grace Fong and Aaron Rogers are the first in their families to wear the headgirl and headboy badges.

The pair were inducted as the headboy and headgirl of Holy Trinity Anglican School in Suva.

The proud school leaders were badged at the school’s prefect induction ceremony held at Holy Trinity Catheral.

Aaron, 13, of Suva, said that his parents were proud of his achievement in school, especially become a leader.

“I am really happy to see my parents see me badged and my dad is proud of me,” said Aaron.

“I will try to do my duties and balance my studies.”

Grace, 12, of Suva, said that her role as headgirl is to help ensure that there is discipline in the school. The headgirl said she hoped that her peers would learn from her attitude towards school work.
