Discipline in school is key for Rishikul prefects

Rishikul Nadera Primary School head prefects were among 42 school leaders badged during the school’s induction ceremony on Friday.
The heads and their fellow prefects ensured that their priority will be the discipline of students in the school, which caters for 485 students and 15 teachers.
Vakacegu Tuivanua, 13, was appointed headboy of the Rishikul Nadera Primary School.
Diksha Singh was badged the headgirl.
Vakacegu said that he was the first from his family to be badged.
“I was very excited and proud to be elected as the headboy of the school,” he said.
Diksha, 13, of Suva, is all geared up to set a good example and be a role model to other students.
She was the deputy headgirl last year.
“I am the only daughter in the family to hold a headgirl’s badge.
“I feel really happy to be chosen as the headgirl of the school,” Diksha said.
“While it is a privilege to be the headgirl of the school I have to discipline myself and set standards to be an example to other students.”
