Fiji FA Player Transfer Finalised

Fiji Football Association’s dispute tribunal has finalised all the pending cases in the players window transfer.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said: “We are happy to announce all the finalised pending cases with regards to players transfer.
“And the transfers that are incomplete will be dealt by the registration committee and the pending cases will have to wait for the next transfer window in September.
“Yesterday it was resolved as there was an amicable resolution between Rewa FA and Lautoka FA with regards to Epeli Saukuru so the that case was not brought before the tribunal and it was not regarded as a dispute since Lautoka withdrew.
“With that agreement Epeli Saukuru’s letter of withdrawal is now 10 days after his initial application so as a result he now stays with Rewa,” he said.
Meanwhile Labasa 0paid Lautoka $10,000 for the release of Christopher Wasasala and Elaisa Lino following discussions with Fiji FA.
“As for Remueru Tekiata’s case it is not before the tribunal because there is no dispute. “We have now a chronology events which clearly indicates the player’s intention to move to Suva was before Ba FA tried to take disciplinary action on him.
“As stated in transfer window legislation once a player shows his intention to move the districts cannot discipline the player and we will release the player to Suva FA,” Yusuf said.
