Senikarawa Unveils Sporting Plan

Ratu Kadavulevu School looks to go one up and win the Fiji Secondary Athletics Coca-Cola Games.
RKS principal, Peni Senikarawa said, yesterday it was always a challenge to lift their performance considering the historic sporting feat they achieved in rugby last year.
“Last year we came up short by one gold and it is definitely a challenge to up our performance every year and our goal for this year is to try and win the Coca- Cola Games,” Senikarawa said. “It starts here with our inter-house, from here we will see what we can do and select our squads for the zone then we will carry on from there.”
He said they would be expecting a good competition from zone level building up to the Coke Games.
“We have reviewed our preparation and felt that we lacked in some areas. So this year we will be focusing on our weaknesses in order to produce a well-balanced team for the Coca- Cola Games.
“This year we are just working on doing the little things right which I feel was something we lacked in last year.”
He said these areas included focusing on welfare, diet and training programmes of their athletes. “In the past years we have not been very competitive in the field events and that is something we will change this year.”
