DAV College, Nabua, Suva celebrated the annual Maha Rishi Swami Dayanand Bodh Diwas festival at school on Wednesday.
School culture teacher Savita Chand, said the school, which has a roll of 770 students, this year performed the Havan, Bhajan. Then they gave offerings for all to share.

Bodh Diwas marks the day when Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati was enlightened and went to search for the truth. When he was a teenager, he wanted to find the true God.
Student Shagrika Singh, 14, said on other occasions, Bodh Diwas, marked an important event in the Arya Samaj calendar.
Maha Rishi Swami Dayanand was the founder of the Arya Samaj.
Swami Dayanand preached the Vedic religion.
