Headboy: Prefects Eyes And Ears Of School
The headboy of Nasinu Gospel School, Samuela Veiqaravi, told his fellow prefects inducted yesterday that they were the “eyes and ears of the school”.
He reminded them that their fellow students would look to them for help and they must be ready to help.
“If you see some students arguing or fighting or if you see someone crying, or if you see someone who forgot to bring his or her lunch, etc, it is our duty to report these things to the teachers,” he said.
He told them that as they started the year 2018 it was his prayer that they, as leaders, would all work together to make a difference in the school.

“I would like to plead with you prefects and class captains to understand that our role is very important,” he said.
Headgirl Elenoa Vunivanua urged the students to unite to make the 2018 academic year a memorable one through their achievements by studying hard and placing their school name as one of the top schools in Fiji.
Chief guest and Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), Rear-Admiral Viliame Naupoto, told the prefects to wear their badges with pride.
He reminded them to perform their duties as prefects to the best of their abilities.
“Don’t forget, if you are not too sure of what to do, ask,” Rear Admiral Naupoto said
