Mould the Students to Be Great Leaders of Fiji, says Chauhan

Parents and teachers of Lautoka Central Primary School (LCPS), were reminded not to limit the students’ capabilities, but enhance them.
Chief guest, Evolution Design Creative Director Ritesh Chauhan made the remark while delivering his opening address at the prefects’ induction on February 9 in Lautoka.
Mr Chauhan said the students were at the stage where they can be easily moulded to become great leaders of Fiji.
“Guide them so they can be great leaders and help them with the responsibility that they are entrusted to do.
“These are the leaders of tomorrow, they still have a lot to learn and it is up to us to teach them.”
School headboy Titifanue Etike, 13, from Rotuma aspires to be an engineer.
He said he would prove to students that he was up for the role and with
God’s guidance he believes he would succeed.
“In everything I do, God always comes first, with Him by my side I will be able to excel in my role,” he said.
“I will have to prove myself, to the students and teachers that I was meant to take this role.”
Tripti Trishala, 13, the headgirl of LCPS is still undecided on what she hopes to be in the future. But she said she wanted to be a leader that makes a difference.
“I do not know what I want to be when I grow up but all I know is I want to be a leader that can make an impact on people’s lives,” Tripti said.
There were 60 prefects inducted.
