NASAU EXPOSES HER TALENT AT MARKET DAY

Ilisapeci Nasau, 27, first joined South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) in 2015.
Ms Nasau described the benefits she gained from this initiative.
“It’s a great help for women who are staying at home, like me and so exciting when associated with this kind of business.
“The good thing about this business is that you get to witness the fruits of your labour and then you get to help your family.”
SPBD organised a market day at the National Stadium car park in Laucala yesterday.
It was Ms Nasau’s first time attending and she was selling food parcels and cakes.
She said the market day was another way of exposing her skills and she will benefit from it.
Future plans
She’s currently based at Nauluvatu in Samabula, Suva and she plans on relocating her business in the near future to Tavua.
“There are plenty of challenges. People who know you are asking credit from you. They are the ones that make it hard for a business to survive.”
Ms Nasau hopes to extend her family home upon obtaining her third loan of $2200 from SPBD
