Commission Conducts Anti Corruption Training For Teachers In Central Division

32 schools join campaign to get young leaders involved in anti-rot campaign
The National Anti-Corruption Curriculum training was conducted for 32 schools around the country the last week.
A session for Central Division schools was held at the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) office in Suva yesterday.
Twelve school teachers and Heads of Departments underwent training on the anti-corruption curriculum.
FICAC manager corruption prevention, Adi Korola Naliva said FICAC’s major objective for the training was to focus on young leaders because they were going to become the future of the country.
“This anti-corruption curriculum we have designed and piloting around the country right now is important because corruption is a global problem,” Adi Kolora said.
“It is becoming the greatest problem in societies and communities in our nation.
“That is why we came up with the initiative to train and to start preparing these young students in schools so that they can develop a mind that is resistant to corrupt practices.
“It will also mould them to become ethical leaders when they join the workforce.”
The school teachers and HODs at the training session were from the following schools listed on the table above:
