PM Meets Fiji’s New Ambassador – Designate To Indonesia

The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama received Fiji’s Ambassador-Designate to Indonesia, Seleima Veisamasama, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office yesterday.
Prior to her diplomatic appointment, Ambassador Veisamasama was a school teacher, serving for 38 years in the education sector.
She has also worked for several Non-Government Organizations, including the World Wildlife Fund in 2006.
Ambassador Veisamasama is a passionate advocate for the fight against substance abuse, awareness of HIV and AIDS, and the prevention of teenage pregnancy in Fiji.
Ambassador Veisamasama is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific (USP), where she attained a Bachelor of Science and Diploma in Education and a Certificate in Diplomacy and International Relations.
She is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Governance at USP.
