The Lautoka football players are injury free and are preparing for tomorrow’s Oceania Football Confederations Champions League clash against AS Venus.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday head coach Kamal Swamy said they are tying up a few loose ends but should be ready come game time.

“After the 3-1 win over Madang FC we know that the next game will be much tougher,” he said.

“That is why we will have to stick to our game plan if we are to deliver. So we’re working on our game plan and we’re fortunate that none of the players is injured.”

Manager Paul Abraham said the players have adjusted well to the new environment and commended them for a job well done on Sunday.

“The management and the players are working together and we call on fans to pray for us. The boys played according to the game plan set and they are adapting well to the weather conditions,” he continued.

“They are preparing well and with the overseas players they have adopted well with the local boys.”

The Blues are going to bank on strikers Benjamin Totori, Osea Vakatalesau and Cory Chettleburgh to do the damage upfront while Vanuatu link Brian Kaltack is to control play at midfield.
