Fiji Car Club (FCC) major sponsors Pacific Energy was impressed with the 2017 season and rated it as a success.
Pacific Energy Sales and Marketing representative Rajnesh Prasad says it was a successful year of partnership with the club.
Speaking at the FCC Awards night last Saturday Prasad said: “As you know we have sponsored FCC for two years and the first year actually went very well with the number of events compared to the previous years and I think we had at least one event in every six weeks which is really impressive,” Prasad said.
“We also saw over the events we were hitting record numbers of participants coming in that shows the event of the Pacific Energy drag race is gathering momentum.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to sponsor the FCC drag race events,” Prasad said.
“And we are also happy to have the high number of drivers Participating paying especially the young drivers as we advocating on save driving and avoiding car accidents.
“We have a two year partnership deal with FCC and we have just completed our first year and hope to continue our support in the coming years.”
“The reason why we support the drag race is that we have seen a lot of accidents in the road and there is a lot of vehicle in the road and drivers are frustrated and careless young drivers.
“So, this event creates that opportunity for drivers to come out race in a save and controlled environment.”-
