Baber Names Final 12

Elusive Suva rugby winger Alasio Naduva has fought his way into the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s 12-member squad for the USA Sevens which gets underway in Las Vegas today.
Naduva joined the team yesterday after he received his US visa late on Thursday afternoon and caught a Fiji Airways flight to Los Angeles.
His inclusion has forced head coach Gareth Baber to name Waisea Nacuqu as the 13th man. That means the plucky utility back will only play if one of the players is ruled out with injury.
Baber has retained the winning 12 from the New Zealand Sevens in Hamilton where Naduva scored three tries in the Cup final against South Africa.
“We have players who could be good weapons in the team,” Baber said.
The Fijians take on Russia at 12.06pm before they face France at 3.07pm. Tomorrow they play Kenya in their final pool game at 8.36am. Fiji 7s: Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Josua Vakurunabili, Kalione Nasoko, Paula Dranisinukala, Vasikali Mudu, Jasa Veremalua, Mesulame Kunavula, Vatemo Ravouvou, Seremaia Tuwai , Alasio Naduva, Eroni Sau, Amenoni Nasilasila,*Waisea Nacuqu.
