Nadi Clubs To Play For 90 Minutes

For the first time the KK’s Hardware Nadi Football Association Local League competition will be played for 90 minutes.
Nadi FA president Javed Ahmed has called on clubs to come prepared.
“This year’s competition will be the toughest seen in years and hope Nadi can retain the National Club title this year,” he said yesterday.
Nadi FA is delighted with the sponsorship from KK’s Hardware managing director Kamlesh Karan and director Kavit Karan.
“They are supporting in helping the association develop and be able to promote club football,” he said.
Ahmed urged fans to come in numbers to support the clubs and also witness some future football stars in action.
In the League opener at Prince Charles Park in Nadi, tomorrow will see defending champions Blues FC face Namaka FC.
Blues FC are also the 2017 Vodafone National Club Champions and they have the services of Nadi players like William Valentine, Afraz Ali, Zainal Ali and Samuela Tamanisau.
Namaka FC on the other hand have central defender Ilimotama Jese and Patrick Joseph Neel.
In other matches, Kings FC with the services of Napolioni Qasevakatini, Andrew Naicker, Rusiate Matirerega and Nadi captain Vereti Dickson take on Navakai Youngsters.
Last year’s finalist DCA FC will take on Ghandi FC who will be led by Ame Votoniu, Rupeni Rabici and Josefata Dugucagi.
