A former Flying Fijians winger believes the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team need to work as a unit if they are to win the USA Sevens tournament in Las Vegas.

Post Fiji acting chief executive officer Isaac Mow said yesterday that this was the way to go for the Gareth Baber coached-side.

“As you guys already know, they all need to work as a unit and everything else will fall into place,” the former Marist Brothers High School sprinter said.

Mow said he’s confident that the current sevens players can make history by being the first ever Fijian team to win a World Sevens Series tournaments back-to-back.

“We know the guys have the ability to win back-to-back. They have done it in Hamilton and I am confident that they can do it in Las Vegas.”

Mow said on the day our players have the capability of creating havoc on the opposition’s defence.

“All players are equally good with the seven players on the field and the five players on the bench.”

He added that captain Seremaia Tuwai is one player that he will be looking out for in the tournament.
