Fiji Sports Council chief executive Litiana Loabuka has urged fans to buy their tickets early for the Investec Super Rugby clash between Gallagher Chiefs and the Pulse Energy Highlanders in Suva. “Launching the pre-sale of tickets four months out from the game provides a huge convenience for all patrons to secure tickets early at an attractive discounted price,” she said yesterday.

The Highlanders will be the home team this time around and they are already sending in their merchandise to commemorate this pre-sales period for the clash against Chiefs.

Loabuka highlighted that the first few hundreds of people to purchase their tickets would be given free miniature Highlanders flags.

“Everyone has ample time to plan and purchase early without being disappointed on the game week rush. Besides tickets are cheaper on the Early Bird specials and we encourage early purchases as it greatly assists with easy crowd control upon entry once gates open on game day.”

Also there has been a section of the grandstand that would be allocated for those who wished to take alcohol during the game. The allocated areas would be for the red ticket holders.

Fans can also purchase their tickets online via Ticket Direct on http://www.ticketdirect.co.nz
