The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-15 rugby league side are confident on taking the silverware to Delainakaikai in the 2018 Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League competition.

The side are currently undefeated in the Southern Zone competition. Yesterday they beat Dudley High School 36-0 at Marcellin Primary School ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

The Lodoni side look set for the national quarterfinal stage after winning their first three rounds of matches. They walloped Cathedral Secondary School 57-0, thrashed Latter Day Saints College 30-0 before edging out John Wesley College 8-0.

Captain George Naqau strongly believes spiritual preparation and unity is what keeping the team together.

“We always put God first in our team, in everything we do we always pray about it,” Naqau said.

“We have been together since last year when we won the under-14 grade and now we are in the under-15 grade and we are focusing on getting that cup again.

“We have been the unbeaten team in the competition and we aim for a good finish.”

The Naioti, Kadavu native feels they have a good combination of players.

“We all know of our individual role in the team and the players are always eager to take on the next challenge.”
