The Fiji Football Association has high hopes of Lautoka qualifying for the FIFA Club World Cup later this year.

The Blues will face AS Dragon of Tahiti on April 7 in the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League quarterfinal.

“Chirstophe Gamel will be assisting Lautoka after the Philippines tour,” Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said.

“Lautoka have done well so far and we should help them in any way possible. They can win this Champions League as well.”
