175 To Join As RFMF Conducts Recruitment Drive

Recruits were already training and part of the 175 were going through the officer’s course.
The Republic of the Fiji Military Force (RFMF) will be recruiting 175 soldiers.
RFMF chief of staff Brigadier General Ratu Jone Kalouniwai said the recruits were already training and part of the 175 were going through the officer’s course. The rest he said would be joining the Territorial Force (TF).
At the Black Rock Camp in Nadi 180 are training for the first rotation to Sinai.
According to the Director Peacekeeping Operations and Advisor to the RFMF Commander Lieutenant Colonel Pacolo Luveni the peacekeepers are doing their six weeks training and will be leaving for Sinai at the end of April.
The Methodist Church of Fiji has appointed the Reverend Captain Viliame Tunidau to be their Chaplin.
Capt Rev Tunidau is training with the group.
He told the Fiji Sun that he was looking forward to the trip.
Rev CPT Tunidau said he would focus on the spiritual preparation of the peacekeepers and other religious activities in Sinai.
He is based with the Yasawa Methodist circuit.
